Alcudia!

These are my favourite photos from my trip to Alcudia. This was by far my favourite holiday, its a beautiful city and beach, and its safe to say we all enjoy the pubs.

Photo 1: This one was actually taken in Santa Ponça. we hired a car for the day and drove down to the bottom of the island and we found a small beach which i found was a pretty photography opportunity while the kids played in the sea!

Photo 2: This next photo was taken on a bridge of the canal that we stayed next to, although it did smell a bit and there was thousands of mosquitoes it was really pretty when the sun was just about to set.

Photo 3: This was actually taken the same day as the one above, we were going for a walk and of course we ended up in our favourite bar, but the sun was setting and i caught this in between 2 hotels just across the road from the pub.

Photo 4: This last photo was taken on the main strip where all the gift shops and restaurants are, it was our 3rd day but our first nice day, we went for a walk to see what was about, went to the beach but ended up back at the hotel in the pool.

All of these photos were taken in Spain and we are hoping to get back next year with a few more people. I have a video going up on youtube hopefully tonight or tomorrow morning so check that out, and for more photos from my trip see my instagram.

Lizard Point, Cornwall!

So not all of these photos were in Lizard Point, the last one is the beach in Perranporth on the campsite we stayed at (Perran Sands) its a beautiful sight and I would definitely recommend if you are wanting to go camping or taking or hiring a caravan because its the best sight in Cornwall we have stayed on so far.

Photo 1- This photo is my favourite photo of my whole photography journey, I wish I had this photo when I was presenting some of my work in an exhibition... you can find out more about that HERE. It took me about 30 minutes to get this photo because I was stood there with my camera but people kept walking past and im so glad it turned out the way it did because I wouldn't have been happy otherwise, I think I will get this photo printed out onto a canvas and have it hung in my house when I get one I love it that much.

Photo 2- I love how blue the sea looks in this photo, I also nearly fell off the edge of the cliff trying to get this at this angle because my foot slipped on a stone

Photo 3- I got this photo because i wanted to show how clear the water can be in England. I know a lot of my friends have never been down this end of the country so i wanted to show them how beautiful it is, and it really is stunning!

Photo 4- This was taken on the campsite but I love how vivid the colours are here, I still cant get over how pretty the sea is in Cornwall (we were here 6/7 weeks ago)

These are my favourite photos from this years trip to Cornwall, and i'm sorry for spamming tonight but I was feeling very motivated and needed to upload something so i hope these 4 posts add up to all the time iv'e missed posting on here. I an going to try my hardest to upload more often and i;m going to Spain on September 30th so expect lots of photos from that trip! I am also going to try and vlog while i'm out there, I did for Cornwall but the editing afterwards was stressing me out because half of the files corrupted but if you are interested in checking out my YouTube it is linked somewhere on my blog or click HERE and it should take you straight over, make sure you subscribe and wait for upcoming vlogs!

St Ives, Cornwall!

These three photos were taken in St Ives, Cornwall. This is one of my favourite places in the world, We spent about half of our holiday down here, its such a beautiful place with lots of insane beaches and a small quiet old fashioned town.

Photo 1- This photo isn't edited or got a filter on it or anything, I took this photo and uploaded it straight to Instagram. We were walking around St Ives and we found lots of small hidden beaches so of course I had to snap a photo of all of them!

Photo 2- This photo is actually the same beach as the first one, we turned around after seeing that beach and found our self walking about 2 miles up a super steap hill, but I can definitely say it was worth it because this is my favourite photo from St Ives!

Photo 3- This was the first time we visited this side of St Ives, and i also got this photo whilst in a moving car... obviously what a faster shutter speed was created for! I did turn the contrast up a lot on this photo and its not one of my favourites but I think it shows how beautiful this city really is!

Beautiful in Black and White!

So these are my favourite Black and White photos from the past few months, I feel like black and white is aesthetically pleasing on rainy photos or macro images, such as these;

Photo 1- This is a photo of very small wooden love hearts which were part of the table decorations on a wedding i recently attended in Cornwall. I used my phone to take this photo with a clip on macro lens which i bought from ebay! I will link them HERE I think they are amazing and super affordable and will definitely be taking them on my trip to Spain!

Photo 2- I actually took this photo on the bus on the way home from town the other day, I didn't use any special equipment I just sat trying to focus on the raindrops on the window whilst being stared at on a bus full of people!

Photo 3- This photo was taken early one morning while I was camping with my family in Cornwall, it had rained all night but when we got up everything was starting to dry up and i was feeling super artsy and photography motivated so this was an obvious shot for that day.

Sunsets!

I haven't posted in a long time, I've had a lot going on I'm sorry, but while I've been away i have an insane collection of photos i would like to share with you guys:

Photo 1- This photo was taken whilst I was at a stag & hen do on a beach in St Ives, Cornwall. I was designated photographer that day but wont be posting any other photos because they have everyone that attended the party in them.

Photo 2- This photo was also taken in Cornwall but this was in Perranporth on top of huge sand dunes at the camp site we were staying at. I also only turned up the contrast a bit on that photo, i love how vibrant the colours are. I also love how the clouds look in this photo.

Photo 3- This one was taken in our local park in Sheffield the day before we went to flamingo land. I love how the trees give the photo as a whole a natural boarder, it really makes it stand out from the rest.

Photo 4- This one was taken in Sheffield a few days back, it is really representing the change between summer and autumn, because in the summer when we have colour in our sunsets its normally pink but in fall its orange, and in this photo the sky is orange and purple!

These are my favourite sunset photos I got over the past few months, I hope you like them, let me know in the comments what you like about these photos and how i can improve next time as its much appreciated!

College Work

These are the first of my test shots.
The first 2 photos were taken in Flamborough, north landing. They were taken on different days, about 2 weeks apart, as you can tell it was a really nice, warm and sunny day in the first one, that photo was taken on my phone because i had forgotten to take a camera with me, although i think the photo itself has turned out really nice, it hasn’t been through Photoshop either, just the editor on my phone where i adjusted the brightness and contrast a little to make the colours more vibrant than they already are. If i was to retake that photo there isn’t anything i would change. The second photo was taken on the cliff sides in Flamborough, the cliffs that you can see in the first photo, looking down onto the small yet beautiful beach. This photo also hasn’t been in Photoshop, i have just adjusted brightness and contrast to make it look like it wasn’t raining when we had walked up the cliff side. If i was to retake this photo i would definitely use a camera with a wider angled lens instead of my mums phone using the panoramic setting.
The next 2 photos were taken in Endcliffe Park, Sheffield. Both on the same day, about an hour apart. The first one was taken from a low angle, i was sat on the floor with my phone below my legs but so i could just see the screen, I would definitely retake this photo using a camera so i can Photoshop it better than i did, i used Photoshop on this photo to clean up the river a bit because there was a lot more sticks and leafs in their and it just made it look untidy, also i was able to cover up the fair behind the trees and all you could see was red behind them but thankfully i managed to use the patch tool on a good part of the tree and cover most of the red, although it doesn’t quite match because it just looks like the same part of the photo has been copied and makes it look unrealistic. The second photo i also used a lot in Photoshop, all the blossom on the floor was a lot patchier before and their was a tree stump where another tree had been cut down a few years ago, but i have the same problem with this photo, it looks like one patch of the blossom has been copied and pasted. I will definitely be trying to recreate this photo because i love the way blossom looks but it isn’t exactly what i planned for my project, although i think i could still incorporate it somewhere.
I am going back to Endcliffe park on 03/05/17, but this time i will definitely be taking a camera because you have a lot more opportunities with a camera. Although i don’t know when i can next get to Bridlington and Flamborough until 27/05/17, which it isn’t advisable but hopefully i will be able to get my best shots of the seaside throughout that week, i will just have to take my laptop and camera and probably a tripod for so i can edit and shoot on holiday.

Endcliffe Park!

These photos were all taken in Endcliffe park in Sheffield, all taken on my phone because I forgot my camera, silly me. I was trying to find a waterfall I had photographed back in 2015 but I couldn't find it, however we did find these beautiful stepping stones and other surroundings.

I am trying to upload on here more again, so I've decided all the nice photos I take on am going to post them here, that way I will have a copy of all my photos and where they were taken, and I'll be posting more. Also, my blog has reached over 2500 views and has been seen in over 20 different countries, that's madness ThankYou guys!!

Flamborough!

These photos were taken during a spontaneous trip to Bridlington with my brother. We got on the train in the morning at Sheffield station and got off in Bridlington and jumped on a bus to flamborough head.
Both of these photos were taken by North landing in flamborough which is a rather special place to me and my family. The first photo was taken at the top of the cliffs seen on the right hand side of the bottom photo, it is a panoramic photo taken on a mobile phone. The second photo is also taken at flamborough just above the beach, which would be central and to the left of the top photo.
I really like both of these photos, especially the bottom one which got noticed by a popular Facebook page linked HERE. The cover photo got 1.7k likes and the photo they posted also got 1.7k likes, if I remember correctly.
